Gearvest have intensively designed Komatsu 930E and Caterpillar MT440 bowls for Mogalakwena Mine with the main purpose to reduce the bowl weight and increase the life expectancy of these components. Full simulations were run and the product design was adjusted by our internal design engineers to achieve a bowl design that meet the customer requirements. This effort was recognised by Anglo American Mogalkwena Mine who have ordered bowls for use in their operation. We are proud to introduce our Honeycomb Light Weight Bowls ® to the world.
